Why I Decided to Start Blogging my Coding Journey

Exploring things and learning different technologies simultaneously is a bit overwhelming, but why I decided to start blogging?

As someone who is just starting on this journey, I have realized that documenting and sharing my newly discovered concepts is one of the best ways to solidify my knowledge. At first, I never imagined myself being a blogger and to keep up with that I also consider writing as one of my weaknesses.

When I joined Tech Twitter, I met a lot of incredible developers, content creators, and learners just like me. One of the common things they have shared is to keep coding, learning, and most of all sharing. Just in my third month of being serious about diving into tech, I realized that starting a blog could be a valuable experience for myself, and also for others.

What are my reasons?

Here are a few reasons why I decided to start blogging about my learning journey:

  • To solidify my understanding of coding concepts

Writing means requiring my thoughts to be organized and because of that, I have no choice but to think more deeply about the concepts and internalize them until I can communicate them better.

Plus, I have a friend - who is also my mentor named Carlo, who made me realize that by sharing, learning will flow more. It's a win-win situation as both the learner and the teacher will have a deeper understanding of the topic.

  • To track my progress

Blogging my coding journey will really help me to track my progress in developing and also, in communicating. By documenting the ups and downs, I can look back and see how far, I've come.

  • To connect with others
This blogging will help me to connect with other like-minded people who are into tech. Also, I think it's a great way to get into a community and support each other.

  • To inspire

Lastly, I hope as I write my journey, I can inspire others and even myself to start and continue exploring even if it seems like it is a rough road ahead. Learning to code is a bit intimidating, but I think seeing someone's else progress, failures, and how they stood up and reach success can be a powerful motivator.

In conclusion, as a beginner in tech, I know I have a long journey ahead of me. I am fully aware that I have a lot to learn and plenty of flaws in my progress. I know there will be setbacks and challenges along the way, but I believe that by supporting and learning from each other, we can all achieve our goals. So please, join me on this journey, and let's learn and grow together.
